Registration for our Spring Yard Tree Giveaways Now Open!

Registration for our spring yard tree giveaways is open! Now through April 1, Philadelphians can register for up to two free trees to plant in a yard or lawn on private property. We have several species available this spring, ranging from tall shade trees to beautiful and tasty fruit trees! See the full species list and get detailed information here.

Participants who pre-register can select their preferred species and reserve their spot at one of three special pick-up events scheduled for April (details below). At each event, participants will learn how to plant and care for their new tree and receive educational materials as well as a free bag of mulch. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted at the end of each event while supplies last.

Refer a Friend, Win a $100 Giftcard to the Apple Store!
If you’ve already participated in our yard tree giveaways and don’t have room for another tree, you can still share your Arborly Love! Enter our new Refer-A-Friend Raffle by encouraging a friend, neighbor, or relative to sign up for their own free yard tree. If the person you refer registers for a tree and actually picks it up at one of our giveaway events, we’ll enter your name for a chance to win a $100 giftcard to the Apple store! Entering is easy: the new participant simply has to enter your name in the designated box when they register.

Free Delivery and Planting Assistance
Residents with limited mobility can apply for free tree delivery and planting. Space for this service is limited, and residents are encouraged to apply early. To apply, download the application, email us at [email protected], or call (215) 683-0217.
